Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently competing with the UFC flyweight division. She is also the elder sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champion and fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko is an experienced Muay Thai boxer started her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina continued her career by taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 and the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia has started her professional career at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and 2016, the International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. It was also the WMC World Championships also held in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thai World Champion. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was unanimously. Antonina Shevchenko made her professional MMA record at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She was 3-0 after winning the second-round TKO. The following two fights were won at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on her kickboxing, and she returned to the ring against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui by the unanimous verdict. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, by an unanimous vote. The league was dissolved in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's striking skills were superior and enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. Antonina Shevchenko was given an UFC contract following this win. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim.
