Colson Kelly, also known under the alias Machine Gun Kelly, has a unique style of rapping. Baker was born into his English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A., on April 22 the 22nd of April, 1991. As a child Baker spent a large amount of time travelling with his parents who were missionaries. The dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed as did his mother Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. After delivering lyrics faster than a bullet train the Cleveland rapper experienced a swift rise to fame in 2011. His career changed from self-released cassettes, to the signing of labels. His career took off with each of his albums ranking in the top ten.
